At Registration, each bride will receive

This is a very useful resource that
every bride should own.

drawn as the bride enters the show
floor. Prizes will be claimed from the donor's booth.
Vendor Door Prizes - Drawn at the end
of the show. These usually include a drawing for a
free booth for the next show, a gift
certificate to a local restaurant, and a Tempur-Pedic pillow.
These door prizes are provided by Tempur-Pedic
and Bridal Potpourri.
Show Guidelines
Fully Furnished Booth Space
You are responsible for your own signage;
banners work well hung on the draped background
You may bring an extra table and supply
your own cloth
You will need to bring an extension
cord to hook up to electricity
Booth contents need to fit within the
pipe and draped booth area.
Program, Directory and Website Listing
You must return your registration form
in order to appear in the Show Program and
on the Directory Listing at www.lexingtonbridalshows.com
Show Vendors page.
Web Page on the Virtual Bridal Show
Tour is free but you must supply us with info and photos.
Contact List of Attending Brides
Do not distribute the List of Brides
who attend the show to anyone.
You may request it in printed, label
or Excel format. Utilizing this list after the show is an integral
part of a successful show.
Promotional Materials
Please make sure you have enough promotion
materials on hand to give to brides.
Spring and Fall shows average 350 registered
brides.
Winter show in January averages 600-700
registered brides.
Make sure your contact info is included
on each piece
Do's & Don'ts
Do find a show staff member if you
need anything; we do our very best to help you in any way possible.
Do make your booth fun and appealing.
Engage the bride in conversation and make that personal connection
that is key to eventually making the
sale. Your booth comes with chairs, but I recommend using them
sparingly.
Do bring someone to help you in your
booth. It allows you to take a break, get some food and relax in the
vendor room, if only for 20 minutes,
it can get you through the day.
Do NOT distribute the Contact List
of Attending Brides list to anyone.
Do NOT break down your booth before
5:00 PM. I have made a commitment to brides that vendors will be on hand
to assist them until 5:00 PM. Early breakdown gives the brides the impression
the show is over before it truly
is, and it is distracting to other vendors who are trying to conduct business.
All shows slow down in the last
hour, but it does not mean there aren't brides who are interested in your
services. Vendors who break down
early will not be invited to future shows.
Virtual Booth Information
To keep the website a valuable resource for our brides, we request that you supply a photo and information about your business for the virtual tour (see current examples) and links to your website and e-mail.
Other service providers that have products and services of interest to brides (health and fitness, beauty, homekeeping, financial planners, Realtors, etc.) are also welcome, so please pass the word to your colleagues.
Rates for
a "virtual booth" are incredibly reasonable, and geared to be
accessible to small and large businesses
alike. Show participants receive a booth free of charge, but even if you
don't participate
in the show, you can participate in
the program.
